Shabnam Mousi, now well-known in her country, was the first hijra to run for political office in India. Here, her life and fight for self-determination are given a full Bollywood makeover, complete with hilarious fight scenes, singing assassins and melodramatic village dance numbers. While the story does stall occasionally, the film's madcap delivery and Shabnam Mousi's fierce rise to power will leave you cheering in the aisles.
